Evening of Elegance – A Night of Giving provides a platform to showcase a different charity each year in the hope of gaining financial support for as many needy groups as possible. This year, we are thrilled to announce Operation Fresh Start as the EoE 2022’s Charity of Choice!

2022 Operation Fresh Start

OFS was born after founder Shannon Deperry realized that many Foster Children have to carry their belongings in trash bags and have little, if any, comforts of sentimental value that many of us take for granted. Shannon started a luggage drive that resulted in 600 suitcases, multiple duffle bags, backpacks, and over 300, toiletry bags filled with everything you might need for good hygiene.

OFS took their commitment on the road and befriended a few wonderful neighboring organizations that continued lending a helping hand. Affiliated with Main Street House in Noank, Waterford County School and Noank Community Support Services, 2022 supports over 30 children monthly with food, shelter, and the necessities to help them survive and, eventually, thrive.
